Aisha Boyce is a Calgary based singer songwriter,  whose blend of folk and pop music is reminiscent of acclaimed artists such as Brandi Carlile and KT Tunstall. Recently, Boyce introduced her debut single "Still Gonna Hurt," garnering multiple plays on CKUA and CBC Radio 1. “I wanted to reflect on the emotions that are an inevitable part of relationships, no matter how the relationship plays out,” she shares. Her music journey expanded to social media in January 2023 allowing her to engage within the digital community. Boyce's songwriting is underscored by her aptitude for crafting introspective lyrics that elicit profound emotional reactions. Boyce relates, “I enjoy writing about my experiences, because I believe they reflect the human experience and that this connects us all”. Boyce regularly performs live at local coffee shops, outdoor events, and open mics.  She is often joined by her music group 'Rhymes with Porch' and her acoustic guitar. She values a sense of community within musical endeavors. Boyce is continually learning and most recently completed the 8-month songwriting mentorship program “Write on!” The Songwriting Experience, Rockit Vocal Studios content creation course, is a regular attendee at Calgary Songsmith gatherings and frequently attends songwriting and music focused retreats. Boyce is steadfast in her dedication to both her own artistic development and the Canadian music community.
